Building & Pest Reports
Our responsibility to you is to provide reports and advice that is accurate, unbiased and conforms to *Australian Standards. We welcome and encourage the attendance of our client at the time of the inspection. Upon receipt of your reports please feel free to contact the inspectors to discuss any relevant issues or recommendations raised within the reports.
We aim to carry out your inspection within 48 hours of your enquiry. However in urgent situations we will endeavour to meet your deadline. Your reports will be available to be emailed or faxed within 24 hours of your inspection and a hard copy will be posted thereafter.
The Visual Building Inspection
Our report covers the structural soundness of the building, significant defects to exterior and interior elements, the condition of the improvements to the property and any maintenance issues on the day of the inspection.
We inspect the exterior of the building and improvements to the property. All interior rooms, inside the roof void and the roof surface. Our building inspection report is carried out in accordance with Australian Standards 4349.1.

The Visual Pest Inspection
A full visual inspection of the exterior of the building and immediate surrounding property. All accessible internal rooms, the roof void and sub floor where applicable to detect termite activity, damage and conditions conducive to termite attack. Our Pest inspection report is carried out to Australian Standard AS4349.3

Hand-Over Reports
A comprehensive written report calls attention to any possible defects or substandard work that does not comply with the Building Code. This service entails a thorough inspection of the property’s exterior and interior.
Asbestos Audit Report
An asbestos audit inspects for any asbestos in or around the property. The report details the location, condition, type and recommendations about any asbestos within the property and may include photographic evidence. Asbestos samples are taken for analysis by an accredited laboratory. Queensland Building & Pest Reports™ do not carry out asbestos removal.

Monday-Friday: 7.30am-5.00pm
Saturday: 8.30am-3.30pm
This unique service allows our clients to receive their Friday reports via email or fax and to peruse them over the weekend. Our staff are also available to take client enquires and bookings.
